Health is a Marathon.

I often tell people that health and fitness is similar to a marathon, and not a sprint.  In other words it’s a change in lifestyle, and not just a quick fix.  There will be setbacks and obstacles.  There will be rough days, maybe even weeks.  Focus on the big picture.  Focus on your lifestyle!  These past few weeks my family has been sick.  First the kids got it, then I got it.  I haven’t worked out in over a week and I can feel it.  I’m off to workout now, and get back on track.  So next time you’re just not feeling it, you miss a workout, or don’t eat the best meal ever, it’s okay just think about the big picture.
